PORTAL 001 GARIFUTURISM · ONE NATION WITHOUT BORDERS
The central gateway to Garifuna language learning, dictionary research, history, teaching systems, and responsible AI—created by MARAGAÑ (Shaka) MAGARADA for Garinagu across Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and the world.
WHAT ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR?
This gateway is designed to become the clearest first destination for people seeking the Garifuna language, a Garifuna dictionary, cultural and historical research, teaching tools, and the connected NISAMINA project.

Open route ↗THE WORK · LIVE, PRIVATE, AND EMERGING
Move through the environments as a connected research laboratory. Each chamber names its audience, evidence authority, access state, and next action.
Enter the V12-inspired Garifuna knowledge environment for exact headwords, definitions, grammar, sources, teaching records, voices, and visible review states.
Travel between Raymond Breton’s seventeenth-century records and living Garifuna while historical evidence, machine drafts, modern evidence, and review decisions remain separate.
A Garifuna-first, teacher-first environment with device-local learning data, exact authority checks, and fail-closed responses when evidence is insufficient.
A supervised learning world joining language, imagination, classification, and discovery for young learners and their families.
The conversational learning lane for grounded practice. It remains distinct from GULISI’s teacher-authority role and is not presented as a live public service.
Structured classroom and institutional modules that preserve evidence, source attribution, community review, and rights gates across delivery formats.
AI-ASSISTED · NEVER AI-AUTHORIZED
NISAMINA uses computation to retrieve, compare, organize, teach, and reveal relationships. A model, vector, OCR result, or machine translation never becomes Garifuna authority merely because it appears inside a beautiful interface.
Every answer must retain a route back to evidence.
Machine drafts and computational candidates remain visibly provisional.
When evidence is insufficient, the system says so instead of inventing authority.
Speakers, teachers, elders, rights holders, and communities remain decision-makers.
WITNESS · BUILDER · SYSTEM ARCHITECT
I am building a traceable, community-accountable record of Garifuna language and memory—for learners, teachers, researchers, and future Garinagu.
MARAGAÑ (Shaka) MAGARADA is from Dangriga, Belize. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from California State University, San Bernardino, and is pursuing an M.S. in Data Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Garifuna Learning Academy, NISAMINA, LILA, the Atlas, and the connected teaching systems join his technical training with lived responsibility.

Founder-supplied biography. Historical, genealogical, ceremonial, and third-party claims remain outside this public profile until separately sourced and reviewed.
TRANSNATIONAL BY DESIGN
This is not a Belize-only or Dangriga-only institution. The Academy connects homelands and diaspora while allowing communities, regions, sources, and reviewers to remain distinct.
MOBILE FIRST · OFFLINE FIRST · COMPLETE BY DESIGN
The complete canonical estate remains whole. Phones carry chosen verified editions; schools and community nodes can carry more. Limited bandwidth changes transport—not the value or completeness of the work.
Provenance, rights, review states, and complete public editions remain independent from temporary browser storage.
The public shell works through interrupted connections. Signed, resumable library packs form the next delivery layer.
Automation may restore verified software and isolate damage. It may never rewrite Garifuna language, history, or community decisions.
